We are a group of students from the University of Wisconsin-Madison who are passionate about sustainability and the environment. We created this blog to raise awareness about the environmental impact of e-waste and to encourage people to recycle their electronics responsibly.

Our Mission

Our mission is to educate people about the dangers of e-waste and the importance of recycling electronics. We believe that everyone has a role to play in protecting the environment, and we want to empower people to make a positive impact through their actions.

Adi Tolia

Adi is a junior at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He is majoring in Computer Science and Data Science. Dealing with technology daily, he understands the importance of e-ewaste as an up and coming issue. As a result, he decided to develop this website to raise awareness about the importance of recycling electronics. He hopes that this website will help people understand the impact of e-waste on the environment and encourage them to recycle responsibly.

Chuck is a 3rd year undergraduate student here at UW-Madison studying Computer Science and Data Science. E-Waste interests him mostly because was interested in learning about what to with electronic waste after using it for so long. He always sees old leftover computers in various campus buildings and wanted to know how exactly the university disposes of them.

Judith is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology and French. She has had a longstanding interest in implementing environmentally friendly ways of life. Learning about the implications of e-waste and what we can do to prevent it goes along with this.

He is interested in e-waste because it’s a major environmental issue that also touches on technology. Learning more about e-waste helps him discover new ways to recycle and manage worn out pieces of technology. He looks forward to spreading awareness about the importance of e-waste.

Thomas is a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison majoring in Computer Science. He is interested in e-waste because it is a growing environmental issue that is often overlooked. He has seen many cartoons of E-Waste, encouraging him to make a greener planet. He believes that with coordination and greater awareness, e-waste is a problem that can be solved.
